Are there subscriptions?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No. RangeLogger is a paid download with no in-app purchases and no subscriptions, so there is nothing to restore or cancel inside the app. To reinstall it on any of your devices, open the App Store, tap your account picture \u2192 Purchased, and download RangeLogger again with the same Apple Account you used to buy it \u2013 there is no additional charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at <a href=\"https:\/\/reportaproblem.apple.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reportaproblem.apple.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details qt-faq is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Do I need an account?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No. RangeLogger does not use an account with qteam service LLC. On first launch you review and accept the Safety &amp; Legal notice; after that you can start recording right away.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details qt-faq is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>How does iCloud sync work?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">RangeLogger syncs automatically through your iCloud account \u2013 there is no separate sync switch in the app. Sync works when your device is signed in to iCloud with your Apple Account and iCloud is available for RangeLogger. Your records then appear on your other devices signed in with the same Apple Account. You can see your iCloud account status in RangeLogger under Settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If records don\u2019t appear on another device: check the iCloud account status in RangeLogger\u2019s Settings, make sure both devices use the same Apple Account, are online and have enough iCloud storage, and open RangeLogger on both devices. Syncing is not always instant and can take some time. Without iCloud, RangeLogger keeps working and stores your records on the device.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details qt-faq is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>How do I back up, restore or move my records?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In RangeLogger\u2019s Settings you can export a backup as a JSON file and import it again later \u2013 for example on a new device or to restore your records. Save the backup file somewhere safe, such as the Files app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Important: a backup file contains all your record details in readable form and is <strong>not<\/strong> protected by App Lock. Store and share it as carefully as the information it contains.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details qt-faq is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>How do I print my records?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Go to Settings \u2192 Print Report and choose all records or sessions only. For sessions you can print all dates or an inclusive date range. You can also start printing from the Sessions screen. Reports include session notes, malfunction and issue notes and attached photos, and are printed through the standard system print dialog (AirPrint). RangeLogger does not offer a separate PDF or CSV export.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details qt-faq is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>What does App Lock do?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">App Lock is optional and off by default. To turn it on, go to Settings \u2192 App Lock; Face ID or Touch ID must be set up on your device. When App Lock is on, RangeLogger locks when you open it or return to it, and you unlock it with Face ID, Touch ID or \u2013 as a fallback \u2013 your device passcode. For your privacy, App Lock closes unsaved forms when the app moves to the background, so save your entries before switching apps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">RangeLogger only receives the result of the authentication from the system \u2013 never your face or fingerprint data. App Lock protects access to the app; it does not protect backup files or printouts you have created.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details qt-faq is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Why does RangeLogger ask for Camera, Photos or Calendar access?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Only when you use a feature that needs it: the camera or photo picker when you add photos to sessions, firearms or licenses, and your calendar when you add a license expiration reminder. You can decline \u2013 recording works without these permissions \u2013 and change your choice at any time in the Settings app \u2192 RangeLogger.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details qt-faq is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>How do I delete my data \u2013 including iCloud?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Records you delete in RangeLogger are removed from the device and, through iCloud sync, from your iCloud and your other synced devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uninstalling RangeLogger removes the data on that device only \u2013 <strong>not<\/strong> the copy in your iCloud or on your other devices. To remove RangeLogger data from iCloud, open the Settings app \u2192 [your name] \u2192 iCloud \u2192 Manage Account Storage (or Manage Storage), select RangeLogger if it is listed and delete its data. This cannot be undone, so export a backup first if you want to keep your records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Backup files, printouts and anything you have saved or shared yourself are not affected \u2013 delete or destroy them separately when you no longer need them.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details qt-faq is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Which devices are supported?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">RangeLogger runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS \/ iPadOS 17 or later, and on Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or later) running macOS 14 or later. Only your <strong>destination\u2019s<\/strong> location is sent to look up the forecast \u2013 never your own location.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details qt-faq is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>How do I back up, print or share my lists?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can create backups of your trips within the app. With Premium you can also print your lists or share them as a PDF. Backup files and PDFs contain your trip details and are not protected by the app\u2019s Face ID lock \u2013 store and share them carefully.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details qt-faq is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>How does the Face ID lock work?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the lock is on, the app asks for Face ID (or your device passcode) before it shows your trips. Authentication is handled by the system \u2013 the app only learns whether it succeeded and never receives your face data. Note that widgets and Live Activities can show trip details on your Lock Screen \u2013 you can remove the widget, or turn off Live Activities for the app in the Settings app.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details qt-faq is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Can I use the app in my language and with accessibility features?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes. The app is available in 37 languages, with right-to-left layouts for Arabic and Hebrew, and works with VoiceOver, Larger Text, Bold Text, Increase Contrast and Reduce Motion. Read aloud tells you what\u2019s still to pack, which documents to bring and what\u2019s planned for today. All accessibility features are free.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details qt-faq is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>How do I delete my data?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trips you delete in the app are removed from your device and, through iCloud sync, from your iCloud and your other devices. Uninstalling the app removes the data on that device only. To remove the app\u2019s data from iCloud, open the Settings app \u2192 [your name] \u2192 iCloud \u2192 Manage Account Storage (or Manage Storage), select the app if it is listed and delete its data. This cannot be undone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shared trips: when you leave a shared trip, it is removed from your devices; the owner\u2019s copy and other participants\u2019 copies remain.
